Figma is looking for a talented and experienced Director, Data Science to join our team. In this role, you will lead our data science initiatives, driving innovation and delivering impactful insights that shape our product development and business strategy. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and resources needed to excel in their roles.,Develop and implement data science strategies that align with the company's business objectives.,Oversee the entire data science lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.,Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business problems into data science solutions.,Ensure the ethical and responsible use of data, adhering to industry standards and regulations.,Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and drive innovation within the team.,Measure and communicate the impact of data science initiatives to the executive team.,Build and maintain strong relationships with external data partners and vendors.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.,10+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.,Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of data scientists.,Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.,Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and familiarity with data science tools and frameworks.,Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models at scale.,Knowledge of data visualization and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate insights.,Understanding of ethical AI and data privacy, with a commitment to responsible data practices.
